faq's

I'm worried you will be in the way?

We appreciate this is your special day. The last thing we want to do is make you or your guests feel  in any way uncomfortable. By its very nature video should be  unobtrusive and discreet, it should be filmed from a guests perspective with no staging of events. The last thing you want is the wedding venue turned into a television studio. After many years of filming weddings we know how to blend with your guests, but still capture the scenes which make for a beautiful video.

What about lights?

With digital technology, the huge lights of yesteryear have gone, under normal circumstances the only time we would use a small light would be for the first dance of the bride and groom.

how long will the completed video be?

This is dependant on the type of service you have chosen. Normally a completed video will be around 1.5 - 2 hrs in length. Quality is always more important than quantity.

how soon after the wedding will I receive the video?

We strive to deliver the video in 1 month. This is dependant on the time of year of your wedding.

can i be involved in the editing process?

The editing of a wedding video takes many hours and the idea of being able to have an active part in the editing is not practical. We are very happy to discuss what you require, like and dislike, but the final edit must be left to the editor.

do you guarantee the same camera-person and standard as the demo tape?

Absolutely, unlike others we guarantee the same Videographer and equipment as you see demonstrated. This is something well worth consideration. You would never chose a Photographer who showed you a portfolio of another persons work. Every Videographer has their own style of filming and editing, some very good some dreadful. Make sure that what you see demonstrated is the same as you will  personally receive on the day.

can i have my own choice of music on the video?

Yes we hold the correct licence from the PPL for audio dubbing and the MCSP licence for church copyright.

do you provide the raw footage afterwards?

No.
